CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

Personnel in the employment of JVDB Engineering Consulting and Engineering Services have successfully executed small, medium and large-scale projects in the Petro-chemical and water industries. These projects commenced in the construction phase and were executed through the RFC (ready for commissioning) and RFO (Ready for operation) stages, depending on client requirements. Projects were executed within the Sasol Secunda Complex, Sasol Sasolburg Complex and various Water Pilot Project for University of the Free State, BioSaense Solutions and iWater Solutions.

We played leading roles on these projects ranging from site project management, construction management, design, Factory Acceptance Testing and Commissioning co-ordination.

COMMISION AND INITIAL OPERATION

JVDB Engineering Consultants is on site during the commissioning phase of a project to ensure that all problems that are related to process, instrumentation, control, electrical or safety systems are solved on the spot to decrease the commissioning time and ensure the safe and stable first-time operation of the process unit. We optimize all the PID controller parameters to ensure the stable operation of the processing unit. We remain on site until all parties concerned are satisfied with the operation of the unit.

MANAGEMENT OF DETAIL ENGINEERING CONTRACTOR AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT

JVDB Engineering Consultants with its proven experience will provide on behalf of our clients the management of third-party detail engineering contractors including OEM’s and license holders. Project Management from start to finish.

CONTROL, INSTRUMENTATION AND ENGINEERING DESIGN

JVDB Engineering Consultants is involved in the development and implementation of control and instrumentation philosophies for all processes.
